Made in Abyss is very good. And surprisingly adult (it's too brutal for kids imho).

@Ryuo1 but osama game is made around that brutality - you know it's brutal almost from the start. made in abyss looks like cute chibi kids anime and then the brutality hits you like a train.

@ryota1382 don't know it. made in abyss is brutal in very realistic way - I think it can even be called naturalistic. Don't know kill me baby, but osama game is brutal in more horror/fantasy way. That's the way I feel at least.

I don't know if it qualifies for 'Best Anime Ever', I'm nowhere near enough of an expert so as to comment.
However, to my understanding Rurouni Kenshin was genre-defining, so I'm fairly confident that this would need to appear on any list of influential anime.

@tulukaruk @ryota1382 If you love large scale battles and just battling in general, you'll love this manga! It gets pretty epic. I consider this as one of my favorites.

@kairosval the OVA was amazing. But the anime itself went sideways and the last season was just horrible and stupid. Manga was many times better. And talking about manga - new series just started not long ago: Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc
