Its one of the first crowdfunded sandbox MMORPG to hit the market; they Kickstarted in 2012 and it went from there. Many adventures/issues with their engines and publishers, etc.
Today a new team has the source code and just pushed a first patch in 2 years. The concept is amazing, and the foundation of it solid, but they have a lot of work to do to make it a quality release.

Never even heard of it, or maybe I did but it slipped off my radar
But if it's picked up after so many obstacles, it should be worth at least checking out

This game has had more than it's share of ups and downs. I'll remain cautiously optimistic.
