Suggestion; Sellsword/Hiring Board System

Bounties don’t need a reason. Sometimes it’s to send a message. Sometimes it’s to make a point. Sometimes you have cash to spare and that person bumped into you at the coffee shop.
There doesn’t need to be a malace reason to put a bounty on a character. As a Demon all humans and beast are my enemy. That is enough reason.

@jetah I toatally disagree bounties if people can just put them for free. Don0t try to destroy a game. You have Tartaros that FFA do not try to suggest more FFA things we really do not need.

@finland make a nemesis system where if someone steals off you and you see them do it the console acknowledges that and you can then activate that contract but with keeping in the theme of the game i think you should have to pay messengers to send the bountys out or to send out contracts for mercs and alsoyou are forgetting this is free will and rp game wjere people can actively do what they want and wouldnt you wanna see a bounty on the highest karma players and the lowest karma players ?

@finland the people at the top of each alignment would want the other top members dead this game is trying to be a living thing and your ideas are quite static and boring tbh a free will world which you cant put bounties on bad guys and bad guys cant put out bounties on goody two shoes are you sure we are the ones ruining it or are you just getting a bit upset about other peoples input after all the devs are asking us for our input

Dude a bounty is just an amount of money to kill people or bring em back alive, how do you think people took care of competition back in the day. I think you should stay on arboreous were its only PvE

@orical-the-exile if it wil stay something unwritten without an in game feature I will not argue. Players are free to play like they wish. But an integrated system like a bounty board should not be FFA. No point to argue this because they do not want to make a gankbox/gankfest game.

@finland i'm not saying have a world wide system i was saying you would pay city criers to shout about the town and get the word out and messengers to take the bounty to other cities or to a specific group or person. having it worked out between the players would be good but then payment is never guaranteed and if they do have an official system their needs to consequences for just KOS'ing the target instead of trying to capture and also needs to be a way of stopping people from farming bounties so the only npc bounties should be the most evil characters or the most good characters or as side quests some bandit contracts with a location and once you arrive it would load in and you can then do the said quest their is a lot to look at and it is not as simple as you think it is us players cant be trusted with game mechanics

i'll keep the bounty so high on you, you'll never leave a safe zone without you being killed. that's how it works.
sandbox games have little rules.

I doubt they would have an actual physical in-game bounty board - but there are these forums, and discord servers and who knows what else where people can offer groups in game currency/items to kill other players
Whether it's in game or out of game - it will happen

How will it be free you have to pay bounty hunters money to do the deed your comebacks just make you sound like you wanna stay on arboreous dont go ruining the game for everyone else cus you get butt hurt about free will and the chance you will get ganked because you annoyed someone

I'd love a bounty system where you couldn't see the players name! It would just list amounts and when it was placed. This helps prevent fraud by someone having their friend/alt account make the hit.

I'm all for a bounty system, and having it based off crime/reputation I think solves a lot of issues.
