I agreee with yaki morri. It so far seems that the dieties are just a name right now, however, based on their names you can make a general guess. Eg
idiris- probably light/ foresight, so fate?
Tyris- probably a war tyrant, just because it’s making me think of Troy and emperors.
Etc

@kvagga @YorickMori Gods influence many things like buffs/debuff/curse and events on the planets. The alignment/karma.
For example if you follow Tyros and you go on tartaros you will not suffer the curse.

I think they have alredy sayed of what is each god, and I think that it will let you learn some exclusive skills or passives, just my opinion XD

I can expect some players might target players that don't worship the god they do, and some may try to convert others to their god.
My question, is if there is a benefit to having a god with a larger following than the others, it would make for a reason to try to kill heathens and convert followers if so.

Also if you give an offering to a god it can change your karma toward the god you are donating to. Donations to Neutral Gods such as Iridia and Galvanos instead have no impact on your moral stance."

For what I could tell, they influence on the alignment of your character, the karma you gain when worshipping it and the bonus you gain by being devoted. They also said that they're planning to add a divine magic school, so maybe gods will have more importance after they do that.

@baconbr The divine magic school feature is outdated info. There will be divine abilities, but there will not be a school dedicated to them.
