Back when Elderscrolls Online came out, one of the preorder bonuses or with the collectors edition you had the option to play a race that wasn’t normally aligned with a certain faction. This has always interested me.
Maybe there can be a ludicrously long and difficult quest to be able to change faction alignment.
My other silly idea would be to have a school with quests to learn other in game languages so you can communicate in different ways.

Dude thee are not faction alignements just character alignments. You start with you you choose but you can end up where you want

a demon can become an angel and an beastkin can become an abomination (opposite of angel).
you decide if you are good, neutral or bad.

Interesting but each race starts on a different planet right? What if it were a quest that unlocks the ability to start on a different planet with whatever race you want for the next character you make.
Unless I misinterpreted how the starting areas work.

@megatron race = faction = starting alignment= starting planet. Customization in this area of Fractured is highly limited unlike regular MMORPGs where you can first choose your faction then your race. You can turn a devil into positive alignment through quests, but you wouldn't want to start on the beastman's planet since you'll be at an disadvantage. Yeah, the races are pretty lore related, but not exactly friendly or versatile for players.

it could be possible that humans can select which alignment they want before starting the game. they might not be completely good or bad but could be really close or just into that alignment.
i can see post-release in an expansion a neutral race that can select where they want to start but for now DS wants to keep it simple.

@jetah Humans are born with slightly positive Karma, and can choose any alignment, so it's certainly possible.

There are the things that they call the "Divine Quests" which are quests from the Gods which change your alignment. I believe these are going to be very hard and right up your ally!
