Wildfolk becoming evil / Advantage on Wildfolk World? / Wildfolk appearance change to look evil (Abomination)?

  • Can Wildfolk go to the other two worlds and become evil? Some have said they can become Abominations and become evil, is this true? I have not seen anything official on this. If... if it is true, does it change their appearance and if it does, how so? I also want to know if there is more of an advantage starting as a Wildfolk and being on their world as a fresh character before becoming evil since it sounds like their world will be getting a bunch of new abilities; also, will the resources on that world be better or worse? Are the harbors still the way to travel and is it still expensive to use the harbors? So, the questions:

    • list item 1) Can Wildfolk turn evil by traveling to other worlds and changing alignment?
    • list item 2) Will the appearance of your Wildfolk character change if it becomes an abominations and if so, to what?
    • list item 3) Is there an advantage starting as Wildfolk over Human (or Demon once it releases) since it was mentioned that new abilities will be on THAT world?
    • list item 4) Also want to ask... What advantage is there starting as a human over a Wildfolk for abilities or resources? If anyone has answers to these, please post a link/quote from a Dev or company please or let me know what your source is. Thank you!

    1. It is one of the foreseen features, but we don't know when it will be implemented.

    2. Probably, but again we don't really have info.

    3. Wildfolks and humans can already go on all worlds, they don't need to become evil for that. We don't know about demons.

    4. Humans and wildfolks have different starting stats, this has been stated in the design journals. On the wiki here you can find the first draft of them https://fractured.fandom.com/wiki/Basics_Guide. In a few days we will see if it has been kept or there were changes. We also don't know which resources will be on Arboreus. According to the design journals, Syndesia is the world with the most minerals, while rare stones and leathers are on Tartaros. This probably means that Arboreus will have the highest range of Wood and Fiber materials.

  • So, on release Wildfolk can go to Human world, does that mean they can change Alignment to Evil imediately?

@Vultar On introduction of the Wildfolk, you have the option to go to Syndesia (the human world) however, travel to the human world does require the aquisition of a type of Primal Crystal, which we don't know what that source will be, but we do know it is only on Arborea.

Every world is supposed to have some resources that are unique to that world, Each race has benefits, Humans are more versatile, and have Tech Levels, Wildfolk have Primal Shape and Attribute Affinities that give different Solft/Hard Caps, and Demons are supposed to have some kind of Demonic Powers, however, Races lose things when they change worlds. Primal shape goes away outside of Arborea, Demon Powers go away outside of Tartarus, and obviously Humans probably can't transfer Tech Levels to other worlds.

All of which is subject to change, but currently what was initially advertised for the game and has been mentioned in the various Design journals and release notes throughout the Dev cycle.

They have not released any details on the differences between Abominations and normal Wildfolk, Liches and normal Humans, or Angels and normal Demons, but they were mentioned in the very beginning as well.
