Characters/alts question

OK, I got it. I choose a race and I automatically I choose a planet and a gameplay style with it (pve, pvp, pve/pvp), but what about alts? Can I have multiple characters (aka alts) and if so will they be limited to a race or planet? Can I have one human, one demon and one beast character so I can play all gameplay styles as I desire?

Yes you can have alts, and each time you create a character you can choose a different planet/race.
