Forum Titles - how to update

I've earned the next title (Messenger) and left the group 'Whisperer' but I keep needing to select the new title from the Foundation page. What am I forgetting to do? Went to profile settings but didn't see how. Maybe just high... TY for clues...

Click on your profile picture -> change profile -> it's there under your birthday -> "Group Title"

@Baumhauer - for bonus points, now that the title is posting correctly in the forum, 'splain me why my Foundation home page defaults to the 'Whisperer' title until I click on 'Messenger'. I have tried logging out and in again, so that's my trouble-shooting skilz.

@PeachMcD You can click on all the titles on the left side of that page and the picture and text on the right side will change accordingly. Has nothing to do with the actual title you have.

are we able to get a title back if we 'leave the group' as a means of attempting to swap titles, only to find out it makes u unable to use said title you had equipped, again later on?
coz i left the group on general ambassador and now i can only use titles ranked from 'whisperer' to 'ambassador', despite being lvl 158 on foundation.

@Xzait You should send a PM to znirf or specter, they can restore that for you.
And as you might already have find out: title can only be changed through the profile on the forums.
