From the latest news item: Before Alpha 2 begins, we may run another testing weekend or two. Specifically, we are considering:
A stress test weekend, open to all registered users – including those without a pledge! We sorely need it to assess server stability under “real” heavy load, since simulated players can do only so much.
For STR + DEX + CON at lvl 10 you will have 1600 Endurance. On top of that you get 800 extra for STR at lvl 18, 240 for lvl 18 DEX and 240 for lvl 18 CON, makes the total of 2880.
Same goes for Life

Based on the sequence and as shown in the character creation, PER 18 should give a 4% crit chance. Character in game shows 3%.

In the Q&A Crafting & Building this subject was mentioned (time stamp 29:58) Stat is related/will influence crafting, few examples were given:
STR will influence Metalworking, PER & DEX will influence Jewelcrafting, DEX will influence Crafting with claws.
So INT will not be the only stat, the question remains how the relation/influence will be in detail.
With that package you will have to wait till Beta phase 2 starts, which is planned for Q3 2020.
So unless you like to upgrade that package, you have to wait.
With only a small part of the skills available and no knowledge systems, it's hard for me to already have an opinion on this. Combat balance and tweaking is often part of the beta phase.

I agree it would fit the Demon beeing able to be summoned in general, although the demon in this game is a more free will kind of demon. They are not controlled by another entity or can be dismissed.
Summoning only for Demons would be an unbalanced feature, especially in PvP and in visiting other planets. One player goes to anotherr planet and uses the limited time to get as far as possible, then he summons a friend, who can extend the things the other one started, then he can summon a 3th one etc etc.
8 hours sleep, 8 hours work (something has to pay for this game), done by the time I can play........

You can only summon a monster inside your own garden and monster can't leave from there. This monster can be used for you to practice your (melee) skills. Garden isn't really large enough to practice ranged.
Alternatively, simple target dummy would do.

In one of the Q&A video's they confirmed that you get to choose how your angel or abomination will look like (access to character creation again), it's not depending on the choices you made the first time you created that character.
