RE: A question about types of characters ..
I believe that traveling to Syndesia as a beastman is possible. There you can assassinate other players, and eventually become an Abomination, which is the evil form of a beastman.
If you want to stay on Arboreus, you can use the hunter skill to fight the monsters in the land, and assassination could help there too.
Overall, the hunter skill is probably the more viable option, if you want to play PvE on Arboreus, but on Syndesia the choice is ultimately yours.

RE: An idea for a Wolf Support/Druid character from a new member in the community and an avid wolf lover.
And if you are looking for a guild, I recommend the guild, Elusive. We have a bunch of supportive people, and we’re #5 on the leaderboard.
We also have 2 High Druids and the Soul of Arboreus.

RE: Character customization options? Skin color
Currently, the character customization is pretty basic.
However, a more advanced and detailed character customization is one of the stretch goals. As for exactly how detailed the customization will be, I don't know if anybody other than @Specter or @Prometheus will know.

Hey there, Matthew!
p.s. In the future, try not to tell people online about your name

RE: Aminal Tamer as a Class
Another issue is that spells may have a slowing effect, and using a mount would nullify this. Also, if there are spells that deal damage to those around you, using that while riding a mount would be too powerful
For example, if there is some sort of flame cloak ability in which you deal burn damage to enemies around you, riding a mount through a bunch of enemies while using this spell would be pretty overpowered. Even if the mount gets slowed when using this, it would probably be faster than those on foot.
I feel that, as @Genobee said, it would be difficult to balance, especially with the range of spells that Dynamight aims to make.

Hey there!
This is the developmental roadmap:
The only change to this that we are aware of is that the Pre-Alpha is now in November.

Hey! Welcome to the community!
You'll find that the people here are incredibly welcoming, and I hope you have a good time.
p.s. Nice username. The Eragon series was the thing that got me into fantasy.

Conjuration with Summoning Circles
I was wondering how the creature summoning for the conjuration skill would work. I think it would be pretty cool to have to maybe make a summoning circle and bind creatures to use them in battle. I feel like this is more interesting than the conventional spell to summon creatures. You could have different summoning circles needed for different levels of creatures, and maybe you could also have a chance of the summoned being escaping and starting attacking things.

RE: Restoration magic and summons
@gothix said in Restoration magic and summons:
Infusing life into inanimate objects could be interesting.
It could work like in old RPG-s where if you found some clay or dirt on the ground and casted a spell on it you could summon a clay giant, and if you casted your spell on rock surface you would summon a rock giant.
Fractured will already have certain ground spots designated as certain type, and spell might be a ground targeted AOE cast and depending where you cast it, you might get different type of summon.
Clay or rock giants, water elemental, sand monster,... you name it. All by using just one same spell.
Speaking of golems, it would be interesting if alchemists could build these creatures to defend/attack towns or maybe guard bridges. There could be a specific recipe, and maybe you would have to retrieve specific materials from around the map. This would give a way for alchemists to contribute to town defense, and I think it would be pretty cool.

RE: Alignment restricted spells?
How about the divine ability things? Those will be alignment restricted.
