Placement of houses isn't free form; there are plots where they have to be placed. Town areas are also pre-chosen where you can build them.
Okay
Sounds Good there Sir Kellewic.
Now I know.. now it makes sense....
Now I can rest............ =P
Of course it can go either way
But it can also "Work"
I have seen it work many times.
There are interviews, applications and more to ensure it works.
Its a volunteer program.. help out on busy nights.. high server load times.. so forth
Remember.. they are a team of what? 7?
I have seen teams of 100's implement this so why not them?
Allow me to explain.
Have you ever been in a raid and someone had to 'suddenly leave?'
Getting to the stage of the raid was tough enough.. you had qualifiers to unlock.. and area's to traverse.. which took the entire team to get there.
Now you're there and someone in the group has to suddenly leave... real life, emergency or whatever.
A Raid is hard enough as it is and you normally need "All Hands on Deck" for such an event.
I would propose that a Craftable Magic Trinket be added to the game for such eventualities.
Basically.. You craft it... and perhaps it is 'expensive to craft' as well.. hard to make in the crafting tables.
It would allow the party leader to then invite someone to the raid.. then you click on the item.. orb or whatever.... and then
on the top left .. you would click on the players name and it would teleport him/her to your current raid location.
Then your party/group/Raid team would once again be complete and you would be able to continue on. I think this would be
a very "Novel" idea and item to add into the game. I have played many mmorpg's and I have never seen such an item so it would be new and unique to your game as well.
Please give it some thought

Hi there.
I was wondering if it is possible to "Block the pathways" from other players entering a region or area that is seemingly encompassed by mountainous terrain?
Example: You have an alcove of sorts and you place your Governor's City there. To enter is a narrow entryway.. so near the top.. you decide to place other player houses in a horizontal fashion left to right.. therefore blocking the passageways of other players being able to enter the region.
I have seen this done in other games. I know it can be done.. but can it be done in this game?
Normally if you are not "Friended" to a house.. then you would approach it.. then rebound back as you do not have permission to enter that area/house/region but you as the house owner can simply "Friend" all of your fellow guild mates and therefore create a barrier to prevent attack upon your actual Governors town.
Let me know.
Just an Idea.......
Guilds..... with a certain amount of members can craft a guild cloak with back emblem.
Guilds which maintain an active roster of XX amount of members can get the cloak "Imbued" with a bonus
of some sort.
Or offer "Faster move-based carts' for miners.. such as perhaps iron wrought wheels? instead of wood? for faster speed?
As a Guild Tier Reward.. since movement is a mechanic in game which can be easily added.
Guild Reward: Planetary Portals at X level of Guild Status.
Just a few thoughts.
@Arterius Normally the result is that the house cannot be placed.. then the house sitter would wait for his friends to get there while they placed the house and the other player became exhausted. It killing a player would not work as it is against the ruleset of the game and could be considered an exploit.
Hello.
I mention this idea. In "Some" games which are newly released they have held a "Volunteer GM Program"
Basically... a group of dependable players who have wisely contributed towards the forums and have shown a degree of professionalism have signed up to be a "Volunteer GM".
Their duties would not be too extreme but they would take notes, answer calls/pages and help "Stuck" characters in immovable terrain and such. Any higher end issues/problems would become escalated to the senior staff of course.
I was curious to learn if your staff would be considering such a thing? I think it would be good for the community.
I look forward to hearing your reply
Hello.
I played Ultima Online so I am curious.
Is it possible to block a player from placing a house by standing on the placement tile/region?
Just wondering how that would work out.
Thanks
Vyr Vandalous
@Arterius Thank you for that. Very Helpful Indeed.
Good Day Folks.
As many of you are doing... I find myself trying to "Complete" the Quest tasks given via 'The Foundation" Page of Fractured here.
I myself am at 600 completed of 2100 points under the: READ FRACTURED NEWSLETTER section.
I have been searching 'everywhere' for them of course. I think they only come out via email. I normally do not sign up for many things for risk of spam but these newsletters are critical in order to complete and I myself am a "Completionist".
I am requesting "Links" so I may obtain credit for these links if you are open to sharing them.
Either please private message me here or email them to me if you are feeling generous. Thank-You

Please 'message chat me on here'.
"If you yourselves need any? let me know.. I'd be happy to share. I will forward the 5 newsletters that I do have onto you.

@Meiki said in Races playing nice together?:
@VyrVandalous Well the topic of this thread is about races that can play together nicely and here you are spreading race-hate... Tsk, not to mention beastfolk and demons will always be superior... As beastfolk have a safe-haven in their planet which is unconquerable and demons can easily spread havoc on Syndesia during the Eclipse. Humans might try to do that, but in the end it will be a futile attempt in a blind chase after power and glory... typical human thing.
My Human Dad can still Beat up your Beastlord and Demon Dad!
Remember that! =D

@MrFulaton said in How Friendly will this game be to casual players:
As my life is a busy one, I do still enjoy MMO's. How friendly will this be to that casual gamer?
Hi there.
It will of course be "Friendly" to you casual gamer types. However.. You will feel over time 'outside of the loop' as the power player types progress towards epic content.
The trick for you is to call it like it is... tell a potential guild leader who you are and what you are about... and offer your services such as they are. Let him know however that you are interested in joining a progressive guild so when you are available to play that you are able to partake in the latest content with a loyal and stable group base of people.
It can be tricky to find.. but if you're straight up about it and offer 110 percent when you are here/online then you should be alright. I myself as Guildmaster have made such arrangements for others before but only because when they were online... they were perfect/ideal members and did what they could to contribute.
We all have real lives... kids, jobs,,, so forth........... Some are more understanding than others.
Find the right crew and you can basically have your real life free to live and your gaming life to be exciting and filled with events, adventure and so forth by the right supportive team guild.
Cheers dude.
