I certainly noticed this with the campfire. I'm carrying the same 10 stone and 5 branches with the since the start and can keep building campfires with those without consuming them.

Hey,
Since the current test is coming to an end and I finished all my testing, I made all chests in my house at -1740/-930 publicly accessible. You should be able to find a copy of most ingredients, leather, spider silk and gold there.

[FRAC-1801] Auto-attacks stop when toggling melee skills
When in melee and holding the right mouse button on a hostile creature, continuous auto-attacks hit the creature. The moment I would then select a skill (heavy-blow) which is basically just improving an auto-attack, it stops the attacks until I reinitiate them by right-clicking again. This happens on any melee skill (tried Heavy blow, bleeding strike and bash).
it seems like it would want to keep attacking and just switch between skills to hit on the next attack.

There shouldn't be a reason for this. Seems especially exploitable in PvP.

HI @Prometheus,
I had tried it probably around 15-20 times trying to figure out why it sometimes would and sometimes wouldn't trigger. The creatures did not show any Resist text or damage number.
Now I tried this yesterday night again after the A2.2.0h patch came around and haven't been able to reproduce it since. I took it as a fixed bug as of yesterday. I was also in a different area with different creatures. Let me go back to the spiderlings I noticed this on first and get back to you with a more helpful description if it's still and issue.

Hey @Prometheus, I haven't been able to recreate any of the described above since you did whatever update when the servers kept crashing on Friday/Saturday. My ping has been between 60 and 110 very steadily. No further hot spikes.
Tested in combat and gathering. I did not trash my house and rebuild it though.
So this might be fixed already.

Yes, tier 3 enchantments are not possible yet. They will require much better ingredients. Not all enchantments offer even tier 2 at this stage.

Movement cancels when clicking quickly/multiple times
Hi,
When walking, clicking in safe distance from the character multiple times in a row (on the same spot or not) causes the movement to eventually be canceled and the character does not move to the last selected spot.
Seems to be easiest to reproduce when clicking somewhat fast (twice a second or so)

Yes you can enchant shields with resists. They offer the same enchants as gloves, shoes, hats with the exception of not offering accuracy.

I very much agree with @Kralith here. We are like on the opposite end of the world from balancing. And this is overall great feedback. I wish however, that we could entangle this somewhat. I feel there is a lot of mixing up balancing issues with actual bugs. And clearly, the distinction may not be very clear and may require Prometheus/Specter to comment on it.
Let me just comment on 2 things:
Mage Armor and Resistances

You can still wear cloth armor as a melee character, as we currently see a lot of spear wielding cloth wearers. Since there are no classes this alone would not fix it. It clearly has to do with the current lack of better armor for melee. if there was something that would give much higher physical resistances, players would possibly ditch magic armor and wear that. But the current lack favors magic armor clearly. While currently unfortunate, that should naturally get fixed by adding diversity.
I don't mind resistances on monsters or players even at 100% but this should be achievable in one resistance only and would require to leave other resistances behind/exposed. This would make builds specializing on synergies of certain damage types strong against most but totally ineffective against others and I think that furthers diversity overall in character builds.
Critical Hits

This seems to be fitting into the bug category to me. A regular attack with regular crit would not create such numbers, but as @Freas pointed out in his build competition entry there is a absolut flaw in the way crits can stack up right now. I would bet, this is 100% unintentional and not supposed to happen, which would cap the crit damage at this point maybe closer to 1k damage.
That seems to be a major part in the current super fast fights, insane unbalance between mages (since no auto-crit skills and therefore no crit stacking) and warriors.

Sounds like a real bug. Replaying animations especially is most certainly not a feature. Might want to post this with a detailed description of how to recreate it in the actual bug report section.

very much agreed on this.. There has been quite a not so nice atmosphere happening in global chat, which funny enough, I don't remember from past tests at all. I'm sure there are specific examples of similar conversations in global, but I don't think that's been the overall mood, until this test.

What Spectre actually said was that he believes recruiting in global doesn't make much sense and the forums are a better platform where you can reach more people. Whether one agrees with that or not, is an entirely different thing though.

I made the important part bold there. What I recall was more broad: he was tired of arguments in global chat period. Not specificly the argument you were involved in, but I'm sure @Specter can clarify this too.
While there is discord and the forums, global chat has been the main channel to get help through and I am aware that you do offer help and learning opportunities through your private discord chat. That is appreciated. But frequent guild recruitment posts, by whoever, do unfortunately interrupt that somewhat. Not sure how global chat can be changed to still allow for questions and answers and avoiding spamming.
There are times I feel like I am spamming global when trying to help a single person. But since there are no PMs, it's kinda the only way at this time.

[FRAC-2097] Walking animation does not change properly when switching weapons
Hey,
The walking animations are different for spear/quarterstaff and one-handed weapons/shield. When walking and switching from a 2handed weapon set with tab to a 1-handed, the animation does not change, the weapons though do, causing the character to hold one-handed weapons in a rather weird way. The other way around works fine.

Since Fractured is currently not developing for console, afaik, I don't think that's the reason. I too believe that the current slot amounts are really slim.
This does not even have much to do with the actual abilities, but as @Tyrgrim pointed out, most players probably have bandages quick slotted. I'm confident there will be more tinctures of some sort in the future (mana regen, other short term buffs, antidotes, etc.) that would ultimately want to live in a quickslot. Especially since we need the mouse to move. So opening an inventory, while moving and using a potion is not necessarily an option either.
I highly hope they are just not there with their UI yet and will add more slots coming up.

@AlejoTheBear but even that appears to be just added hassle which could be avoided with additional slots right? Memory itself seems to be the limiting factor to not allow a I-can-do-it-all character. I don't think quickslot numbers are needed in addition. That just appears as an inconvenience over a limiting game feature.

@Znick but isn't that exactly what the Memory points do? They do limit you to like 8 skills or so regardless of available slots and make you choose needed abilities for your build carefully.
I feel like the slot limit is really just adding inconvenience and not limitation.
I can certainly agree with you on the dislike of MMOs where everyone does everything and no specialization is needed. Just not sure we need a slot limitation for that.
