      finite for so long like a long time then replenish like half as much as their was at launch if you cut it off then in my opinion it would create a theft wave which would force players to do bad things unless goblins and bandits raid your camps and take stuff just gotta find the right balance.

      Remember what happened to that D&D online game that had an ecosystem the players killed every animal in the world and destroyed the eco system

      I was thinking they should add something in like san andreas but like depending on your build changes how effective you are in different combat roles and farming roles but dont change the actual size of the character just definition

      Why not just trade deals so only those who are useful to eachother would have them like you both agree on the terms and payments or rates or discounts and perks like cheap or free caravan protection from a mercenary guild

      @riccardoric its brilliant and doesnt have to be a mechanic of the game the devs could do it themselves in updates every now and then same with camps of enemies they could evolve over time if they are left alone and they would get more powerful units over time the best idea for this type of mmo is evolution its a brilliant way of keeping people interested in my opinion (others may vary)

      It wouldn't be random because those biomes fauna and flora would create new fauna and flora mimicking its own needs for that biome the difference would be visually and effects wise and its a good idea because alchemy will actually mean you go out and test the new plants and if you use a plant for a certain potion and that plant goes extinct then you now have a new adventure to go on and it will also keep the economy healthy as people will have to buy new herbology books to be able to make remedies and such.

    • Bounties and how they should work (long running discussion)

      So in the mercenary thread we were talking about bounties and how we think they should work and this was thrown out there for saying everyone should have access to bounties " if it wil stay something unwritten without an in game feature I will not argue. Players are free to play like they wish. But an integrated system like a bounty board should not be FFA. No point to argue this because they do not want to make a gankbox/gankfest game." Why is their no point to argue something when he obviously didnt understand me one bit.
      What i had said is that bounties should be free to place but you will have to leave the cash with the messenger and you have to go through messengers (npc's) who would run around the towns and tell criers who in turn will shout about the bounties this would different if its for say thieves or assasins these bounties would then need to be given to bar tenders and they will pass it around to the unsavory types and people can go and get a contract from them with details you put down so a bounty could be hard or easy depending on if you know them or not sometimes you might have to go off a rare item that was stolen and go round asking shop keepers (who will be real people as well) if they have anything like the item being sold the bounty system would add a whole new job to the game and you will have to be good to find them so its not a gank fest tool its something that should be minimal like it would in real life depending on how much you know. On another topic we could also have criers giving out contracts for adventurers who retrieve rare items.

      How will it be free you have to pay bounty hunters money to do the deed your comebacks just make you sound like you wanna stay on arboreous dont go ruining the game for everyone else cus you get butt hurt about free will and the chance you will get ganked because you annoyed someone

      So i was wondering if we could save NPC's from say a goblin camp or bandit cave or a slavers fort and then ask them to come bacl and settle in your town could be a random thing also off topic will their be camp evolution if a bandit or goblin camp are left alone long enough ?

      @jetah also what do you think the crafting will be like? Do you think it would will be component heavy like smelt the ore make the rivets and chain then finish the hide into leather or will it be get the materials and craft it all together

      I was hoping we could mix armor for different reasons like a heavy chest plate but light greaves and puldrons maybe a choice to leave out certain parts of armor like no back armor for people who "dont plan on getting shot running away" (bonus points if you can name movie the quote)
