RE: Additional penalties on death for bounty hunters
Their other option, as they've said, is to restrict PvP type play on Syndesia to strictly Guild Wars type situations where you can only initiate PvP against a member of a declared Guild enemy guild member or ally, and then often for a set period of time before such large encompassing conflicts are resolved and set back to neutral grounds.
Although I like this concept in theory, I feel like it would be difficult to implement cause it will be dependent on the population size of Syndesia as well as how many guilds there will be. For all I know this will workout fine and there will be hundreds of guilds and thousands of players ideally, as Syndesia will be a popular planet for sure. The other issue I see is in solo players, I feel like this concept excludes solo players who would like to pvp, unless there is a piece to this concept I am missing?

RE: Hi. Big hopes for this game :D
Welcome to the community! I was also an Albion Online player, loved the game and the open world experience, but could not keep up with the grind required to compete at higher levels such as hellgates. This game is very promising and I and many others are looking forward to the next Alpha testing.

RE: Quest system
@Logain A few things can be mentioned regarding your post. The first thing is a possibility in regards to the rewards the devs add for defending and maintaining territories. These rewards could be passives, actual physical items, buffs, or even the necessity of the territory as a whole would incentivize enough people to want to defend it and maintain it. Secondly, if a group of players attack a territory and a rival group of players defend said territory; realistically, there should be smaller parties looking to reap the benefits. It is just the way open world pvp works, as for example in any survival game and even in a game as simple as Sea of Thieves. Open world pvp makes room for rats to behave like rats and I personally do not see anything wrong with that.

RE: Quest system
I agree with @GamerSeuss on this topic and it is clear that the devs want their playerbase to experience to be free overly quest driven gameplay that leads into never-ending vertical progression. Games like Albion do not have questing and appeal to a very specific player base that enjoys open world combat and content. Albion also has plenty of spaces for both group content and solo content, all of which are non-instanced. I believe this game will do an even better job at allowing players to develop their content without being spoon fed said content. Furthermore, with how dynamic each world is set up and the interactions between said worlds, players will also be creating content for each other through interaction.

RE: Summon Fellow Demon Players Ability
I'm sure something will come about as there has to be a way for friends, of which their characters may be of a different race, to be able to interact with one another in-game whether it be limited or not. Otherwise a group of friends will have to choose the same race to play with one another, which I am sure is not uncommon. Unless there is already a system in place that I am not aware of.
