    • RE: The decision for public vs citizens-only crafting stations should be made by Governors, not Dynamight

For me it sounds like as non-citizen I get all the advantages, without the disadvantages with the current idea.

I think the city owners should have more advantages for letting people stay in their area like taxes, bonuses, ... special plot reservation/spots for citizens, ...

About the discussion "Guild vs. Solo players" - in the past I have done all:

      • Joining guilds when I liked to play with them.
      • Joining guilds just for the buffs but not interacting with them.
      • Playing solo (including endgame).

It always depends on the community what I do. ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it shouldn't be a discussion how people want to play but a discussion how to make it fair for all players.

    • RE: fun or no im asking

To be honest: In every online game I ever played the best time where always with friends in voice:

      • Killing a boss with my raid group after 100 hours training...
      • Running around with a hunting party in Albion and meeting this one guy that attacked us and getting enough stuff for 1 million silver for each of us...
      • Farming with friends to build this one big ship...

I think in every kind of game you can have fun with friends.
Some stuff will be grinding, otherwise you won't be ready for the big boss / not able to build stuff / ...
But with friends while joking around its okay. ๐Ÿ™‚

I decided to not play Fractured in Alpha:
I know myself: If the game is unfinished and doesn't have enough content I would be unhappy. Not everyone is able to play Alphas.
I myself have this problem: Even if I know its an Alpha - I am just not able to separate my feelings from the information I know.
But its enough for me at the moment when my friends tell me: "You will have fun." ๐Ÿ™‚

    • RE: The Potential City Problem.

I have seen in other "full loot" games like Albion that people that were saying "I like PVP" often were hunting in packs: 20 players against one isn't PVP for me, but hunting - especially if they attacked farmers...

I hope with this system the "PVP" players will meet more PVP oriented people and stop looking for easy targets.

    • RE: Int and Cha required stats? = Unbalanced?

@GamerSeuss said in Int and Cha required stats? = Unbalanced?:

I've never understood the Min/maxers anyway...it is generally more fun to go around and play a build that is fun and interesting, than one that is just supercharged to the point of boredom anyway.

Sometimes its not about "I want to have the best character" but "I want to know if its possible to build..." I have build min/max chars in other games because I was told "Its impossible to build this". And I had fun building the chars. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Surprise ... I am new :P

      Hello together,
I just stumbled other an Fractured youtube link and now I am here.
I am not sure yet what I want to be when I play later because I enjoyed farming, PVP and PVE in the past.

Probably will be human because they seem to be the race with the most options.
But I like the design from the other races more... well we will see where my journey will end.

Thank you for reading until now.

      See you in-game. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Moving goods by sphip would remove all the danger that you face on the way (I think).

    • RE: Alpha 2 โ€“ Test 4, starting in October 2020!

    • RE: New Alpha Price & Founder Pack Sale

One of my professors did something similar:
He came in and told us:
"I am selling this 100 Euro.
      But I have some rules:

      • Starting price: 10 Euro
      • Every time you are bidding you need to raise the price by 5 Euro (10 - 15 - ...)
      • The guy with the highest bidding gets the 100 Euro for the bidding price
      • The guy that is 2nd also needs to pay his bidding price also
      • No speaking / communicating with each other..."

      Result:
Two guys were bidding against each other:
No one wanted to be the 2nd one. In the end they were bidding to minimize their loose...

At the end one won with 120 Euro, the 2nd one had to pay 115 Euro (with the money the professor was buying drinks for all).

    • RE: Finally!! Mounts, Fast Travel and Map Markers!!!

Mounts always have an hugh impact to PVP - especially if the mounts themself have also skills like dismount others, stun, ...

I haven't played any game yet were mounted combat was balanced well...

Therefor I like games more where "special" mounts just look pretty and aren't better then "normal" mounts.

    • RE: Cash Shop idea for the DEVS

As long as the cash shop has cosmetics and music I don't mind more funds for development.

We could even add stuff like "style theme for towns"
e.g. in a specific town its possible to build houses with a specific style like eastern, middleage, ...
That would add to "each town has a special feeling". ๐Ÿ™‚

    • RE: The Eviction/Refugee system ( Residential area solution for city takeovers )

      Just an idea.

Lets say the area where you can build your houses is split:
X spots are available from the beginning and can be claimed by everyone.
X spots are generated whenever the city levels up and can only be claimed by guild members of the city owner. This spots could be cheap, but would be lost when the city changes owner. Here the new city owner could get there foodhold.
I think the "refugee" state would be useful here to bring the stuff away after loosing the fight.
This would also make it a bit more "real" - a growing city has a growing population, ...

You can even make something like "area based plots":
The "city owned spots" could be nearest to the city.
The "free spots" could be farthest away from the city. They spots would nearly be "wilderness" spots - just near enough for some benefits of the town, but far enough away to not be a problem for sieges, ...

The numbers of spots of each kind could depend on the planet.

    • RE: [Feedback] Party Knowledge sharing feels bad

I would suggest that everyone should share the KP in the group that contributed.

In another game I played the share was calculated by "agro":
Healing and damage generated agro. Tanks had agro skills (and hopefully the most agro).
Anyone that was in the group and had at least 1% agro got the equal share.

If another group attacked the same mob it was getting more complicated e.g.:

      • Group 1 had 5 members and did 55% agro
      • Group 2 had 3 members and did 45% agro

--> Group 1 got the loot + 55% of the EXP that was split --> 10% for each member + loot that could be split
--> Group 2 got 45% of the EXP that was split --> 15% for each member

So even small groups could get EXP, but the bigger groups normally got the loot.

This system could be abused with "full tank groups" - therefor it wasn't perfect.
But for mixed groups I liked it.
