KDA is nosense for an rpg game! But statistics like how many players i killed so far? How many of those were humans/beast/demons? How much damage i have done so far? What s my highest single output damage? Whats my highest crit damage? And so on... you can really make a good diary.

@jetah I will not play if will be a copy of albion (same mechanic). Neither people like me. If the equips will be only cosmetic/vanity and will not give combat benefits I will not argue about ganks and open pvp everywhere.

one thing that hurts is the foundation points on the forums.
second is we don't have much of a game to discuss that hasn't been talked about on the forums. Once we start to get videos and the kickstarter goes up we might have more to chat about.

but mostly for big/special events. You need a voice chat cause you can't write while playing. We don't have the game yet so the forum is more than enough.

@logain high resistance shoud be like 95%-99% damage reduction and not capable to crit despite personal crit modifier, mid resistance should be 45% damage reduction with 50% chance to crit of the personal crit modifier, low resistance should be 15%-25% damage reduction with 75% chance to crit of the personal cit mod.
Example you have a personal crit mod to 50% and you are going to fight frost mobs with frost spells:
- if you fight vs high resistance your crit chance will be 0% despite your personal crit mod and your frost damage reduced by 95%-99%
- if you fight vs mid resistance your crit chance will be 25% despite your personal crit mod and your frost damage reduced by 45%
- if you fight vs low resistance your crit chance will be 37,5% despite your personal crit mod and your frost damage reduced by 15%-25%
- if you fight vs non-resistance your crit chance will be 50% and your frost damage reduced by 0%
Having resistance/mitigation make the game more enjoyable and cooperative. For example if you go to a frozen land with mobs that got frost resi just bring mates with electric spells or swap yours. Having all kind of attacks (basic/elemental/magic) that can damage everything in the same way will make the game less interesting and easier. If people wants to play solo they can go for a single player game not a MMO that should entice the cooperative gameplay.
PS. If we get resistance in this way we should add also vulnerability. So every school can suffer/counter others.

@salgados2 everyone can be an enemy if outside the guild/alliance but for sure killing players will influence your alignment. Planets have restrinctions for evil alignment. Dev also said that's possible to became a redeemed Demon but will take alot of time.
the main point is the starting planet that got different rules that's why Demon are tagged as PvP. Tartaros will be open pvp full loot lawless but if you redeem your deamon will be allowed to live on Arboreus without restrinctions.

@jetah I think that everyone will be able to kill everyone except between guild/alliance mates. Kills will drop your alignment so kill by kill you will will lower your alignment to evil. Killing evil will not lower the alignment. I think it will work in this way. I doubt there will be some kind of race/alignment protection.

@jetah the point to leave the safe area will be discover new knowledge spells and gather resources that are not on Arboreus. Prometheus said already that they will not develop starting safe area and pvp end game area ;). The point of that is avoid people ganking those dislike to be ganked.
There's already a game that have tier rources split by zones. Like t1-t3 safe area. T4-t5 pvp area without full loot. T6-t8 full loot area. This means that people are forced to go there for end game. That's a bad design for those who dislike to be brutally ganked.
I think in fractured we'll get different types of resouces. Like safe areas (arboreus) you will find basic resource plus A-B-C. Syndesia basic resources plus D-E-F. Tartaros you will find basic resources plus G-H. I think will be something like this. Some craftable things will require a mixed resources so people will have to travel. I also hope that gear (equip) will have a low impact on the combat.
