@Junkie u can change/update vote.....
@GamerSeuss imo, this is basically option 2. not 3.
@grofire I've added some more details as to my thoughts. I apologize for not being very clear earlier. I have a habit (unfortunately) of not explaining well to others, as the thoughts are complete in my mind, and I just presume I am being clear enough for others
Friends in real life/family have often asked me wtf im talking about, because I'm doing this.
LOL
sorry
OK, for a little clarification:
Option one:
Some people, myself included, think that the only change to crafting should be to lower all metal requirements to make metal crafting easier. This would put it on par with wood/cloth.
Option two:
Other people seem to feel that all of the "t2" armors, should be as difficult as metal. Thus making all crafting more of a time and resource sink.
They have come up with ideas of how to make the wood/cloth more difficult, such as certain wood only used for houses not crafting. Also, something that was talked about was making lesser/greater type woods. That if you used a lesser wood you would get a lesser weapon/shield.
I hope that this adds some clarification to what I mean in the poll. Sorry for any confusion, if this does not clear things up, please help me to make things clear, so that we can find out what the "majority" of players that come to the forums would prefer to happen.
TY.
If you have some other kind of recommendation, please leave it in replies, and the choices may be updated. I've left being able to update your vote ON, so new choices should not be an issue.
@Althalus It seems many people from steam are not paying attention to the fact that EA = beta in this particular game. So there are still bugs and patching needed, etc. At least a portion of the steam players have complained and refunded as they did not understand, also the fact that it does wipe before release has infuriated many people from the steam audience.
Also, the past week or so, our community managers have been relatively silent as to what and when they upcoming patch might be.
@Taintedsteel Personally, I agree completely. But, realistically... I have not seen much communication. Doc, I love u man, but.. ya you one of the few in that boat you got right now my friend.
The game is great, yes some setbacks and stuff, but if gamigo would have/let the CM's do their jobs things on consumer end would be much better.
@Tajger i think people would be willing to help out financially.. i know i would if it was cheap.
I love the site!!!
I agree on certain items. Especially since the durability takes such a hit currently.
I think scholar armor is fine, resource wise. I have not crafted much else.
Personally, with all the PKing in groups, I would love to see the dmg to armor from executes changed some, that 10% is a rough hit if u go out solo/duo alot and get ganked...
I know last beta the durability was too high, but i think right now it could still use a little tweaking.
I did, don't forget to message me back... if you want in. I can ask in guild chat on discord.
Yes. yes I am ready, u can turn the servers on early if you like. I wont mind
I am frequently called Fah, or Q. I'm 48 and i love this game. I started on the 2nd day of the free trial, and purchased the 2nd pack about 2 hours in. I probably play about 6-10 hours a day haha.
I've had fun being a mage archer, and trying out crafting and housing and stuff. Got to try a few legendaries even before the last day. Very interesting concept.
I also keep inviting friends to play, and even bought for a close friend that said he'd love to play but didnt have the cash right now! lol
I hope to help answer many of the newer players questions, and meet ya'll on the playing field. I'm sure many of us will be fighting eachother.
Oh, I'm in EST time zone
