ok, no problem. I searched for hours and just went back home.

I have reproduced a way to continuously reproduce wolves. My plot is is right on top of a spawn point for wolves. I was trying to keep them out of my plot by building a fence, but the problems got worse. I went to get some wood, came back and there were 50 wolves that had spawned under my fence within a couple of minutes. I realized I could kill them, loot them and they respawn almost instantly.

I tried changing the layout of the fence to see if it improves or not and the problems is consistent if my fence sits on top of the spawn point. I even added a benches and craft tables, no different. It seems that the land spawns them because it doesn't recognize that they are there when a plot object is there as well.

@Digital88 Trees are sparse in the area that i accidentally chose a land plot, after 24 hours they started respawning again, but they still take a very long time in this area along with very few trees to begin with.
The location is -903 W 128 N

@grofire After a reboot my problem was fixed. I tried recreating the error and discovered that if the patcher/updater.exe does not close, it continuously adds new executables of both it and the unity client to the task manager every time you try to open it again. This adds to the problem.

Forgive me I researched lightly. Do towns exist? I have been living off the wilderness for a while, feeling a little beast like and need some contact. one would assume they may find new recipes and some nightlife?

If they do, where are they?

The wolves do it too and I have a group of them that spawn next to my cottage. I cannot do anything without having to fight 3-5 wolves every 5 minutes.
Not sure why this is such a problem that has always plagued isometric games in earlier versions especially in Alpha, but the fact that both animals and monsters can walk through fences, doors, walls and floors and when I can't is definitely a problem.

Is this a bug or by design to take a long time to re-spawn. I have noticed the mines in the area re-spawned several times, but the trees where my plot is have not re-spawned in hours or at all.

Apparently as i was clicking around, i chose a land parcel already? Is there a way to delete ownership of a land parcel and therefore chose another one?

I am having the same issue. Actually I get stuck after clicking on PLAY from the character creation screen then stuck at "Loading Assets", it just spins forever.

Skin color seems to match the box colors

Hair colors seem to all be a shade of blonde, brown comes out almost blondish white
underwear color box blue is pink underwear
underwear color box gray is white underwear
