@nightcoder TBH I was merely correcting a statement that vaping was entirely on the level of caffeine to what the research in question hypothesizes. There are still differences noted... but I was going easy on the person who posted that rather than tearing into the topic in depth!

I don't get why people judge and complain about everything.
It harms you in any way? No? Then let people do whatever they want to, being dumb or not.

The full effects of second-hand vaping are still unknown. Vaping has not been around long enough to study long-term effects, however I really doubt that it doesn't harm you in any way. If may (and probably) harms less but there's a huge difference between less and not at all.

What I am saying is, it does harm YOU? The person who is arround it. If it doesn't harm me, I really don't care if one gets any decease because of it. Since there's no such evidence yet, just stay away like you do with cigarretes.
About the harm it may does to the people who vape, is their problem. Their cancer or whatever effects they will have.

@vegtam Minor issue there, people smoke or vape and do not care about others nearby. It is largely why I have gone from 'Meh, don't care I won't do it' to 'Make it illegal in public spaces'. Because people ruin things for other people.
It is far from alone in being something where the self centered nature of people has changed my thinking on proper handling of a topic, but it is certainly one example!

I agree the no-smoking rules should be extended to also include vaping.
So everywhere where you are not allowed to smoke, you are not allowed to vape.
