Martial arts temples!

It would be awesome if there were martial arts monasteries hidden throughout the worlds where you had to explore and find them and then complete quests to be accept in to learn and level up your martial arts skill. The same could be done with wizardry schools as well for different types of magic. What do you guys think?
-
@dagimir Yes, secret places of secret knowledge training sound cool, but I've also seen it in The legendary Moonlight Sculptor xD manga
-
Your idea matches the Knowledge system pretty well!
I like a lot when a game power up system requires exploration and not only battles.
-
@rodsaavedra I think you forgot that the knowledge system gives points for everything: travel, resource extraction, communication/killing a monster, Kraft, death
Find, interact with, or kill specific creatures.
Kill some specific creatures in a unique way.
Find, collect or refine some amount of a specific resource.
Consume X units of a specific item.
Be hit X times by a specific spell.
Perform a specific combat action X times.
Explore one or more world locations.
Rest in a specific location.
Craft X units of a specific item.
Die in a specific way.
-
Yeah that would be cool
-
It's a really nice idea!

I think that would be a good idea, IF the location of said monasteries/wizardry schools and the requirements for every candidate were absolutely random.
Otherwise it would just be as in every other MMORPG out there, where you just have to consult the ubiquitous "xyz-wiki" and you are done -> boring!
Think about those legends of monk monasteries on the Himalayas, casually appearing out of nowhere in front of lost wanderers...
