What race are you looking at playing from the start ?

Human because I feel like it'll be easier to start off with. Later on I'll choose the other two races.

Human for their technology and probably the ease to interact with other races.

Beastmen all the way, but I can't decide between wolf or bear.
I once wrote a DnD homebrew which funnily enough had a similar idea to fractured but had players go to the floating isles by airship. And one of the major NPCS was ursine or bear-kin, so I really excited to see how fractured turns out.
