If you are a Citizen of The Shire on Terra
-
We would very much like it if you would also join our Guild. This will aid not just in communication, but we are also planning Events for groups of new players to go to the "easy" spots to get started. Even provide starter gear for most classes.
Of course if you AREN'T a citizen and want to be, check us out. Largest populated city on the lsland. Not saying a whole lot given where we are, but its something
-
@DarthJafo what are your city taxes, homestead policies, and how avaliable are the in-city crafting stations?
-
Taxes are medium for foreigners. No more plots in town. Everything in town is set to public. For reasons i dont fully understand, any citizen still needs to be trusted rank to use them. Probably a setting somewhere. Currently around 155 citizens.
-
@DarthJafo I'll check out your city next time I log on. I hope to find a horse on the way. I'm looking for a nice place with minimal to no taxes that has tanning tubs, refineries, and smitheries I can use. If that requires citizenship and there are open arms, then I will probably join. The requirements to make a city are too intense for a small group of friends and impossible for a solo player.
-
Most just make a plot outside of town and do all the crafting there. you do NOT want to use public tanning tubs or smelters because literally anyone can take it if you dont set a timer and make sure your there when its done.
We REALLY need better permission options
-
Thanks for the heads up. I joined your city. Yoroio is my character's name. I'm also looking for a guild if you have room.
-
@DarthJafo I am now in the guild and discord. Thanks for the help.
-
Happy to have ya
-
@DarthJafo The reason some crafting stations are trusted citizen only is that they have storage. In early testing people would run up and steal things from the tables while you were working on it, if they were left public. Since you can create your own personal versions on your plot, it hasn't been a high priority to make a fix.

@GorethMolier But if they are public then doesnt that mean that literally anyone can come in off the street and take the stuff out of smelters? Whats does "everyone" mean then?
