Mage spells (school spells?)

I unlocked the coldown reduction talent but it's not reducing my coldowns. In the description says something like "(1 memory slot spells and spells that belong to a certain school)"
What are those school spells? I can't find any distinctive.

@OlivePit I noticed that, i've been changing spells to see if it works on differents spell types but it didn't:(

you mean this talent?

if so, it does work.
notably with firebolt and entangling web where with it you can get your cool down to below 3 secconds.

Make sure that you have memorized your talent preset.
