After a a creature is known (no more abilities to learn) do you stop getting KP completely from said creature? One example is Treants normally get 350 for those killed 2 and literlaly got nothing?
Does that mean after you have learned most skills you stop progressing because there are eventually no KP from kills?

Yes.
You cannot farm the same mob for experience over and over again like in other MMOs.
If you reached 100% knowledge no more experience is gained.

so the game essentially doesn't have an End Game but a dead end

@Hawkshield Once you unlock all the talent points (60) and all the abilities (400 with 3 versions of each, so basically 1200), you only improve you equipment and "skill" -> same as in Albion Online.

There will be eventual new content, that may expand the Talent totals, number of skills and spells available, and of course, add new Critters, especially new Legends to fight for 'progression'
