How balanced are the races?

So I was looking at the stat caps based on what race you are, and I was wondering just how powerful having a 20 or a 21 in an attribute is vs an 18. In other words, is it worth it to be a human over a beastman or a demon? Another question I have is I was wondering if there's information on all the different racial abilities because it would help out a lot for what race I'll end up picking.

So far in testing, human is the only race available.
(So I am not sure how much info can be gathered at this time)
