Finding a balance between skills.

    I'm hoping that the variety of skills the game has will allow for a lot of good and versatile builds and not just one or two that dominate the game landscape. Too often this happens in games where people are able to find the most optimal way to play and it ruins the fun.


    @dagimir In any case, when some assemblies dominate over the other, then maybe their power will understate, or raise the power of the weak. In addition, perhaps the developers will add new schools or to increase the skill tree. Still nothing is known how it is.

    if we all make sure to give feedback on what is way too strong and what is way too weak compared to what they should be i think they would listen but there is no game where something isn't the strongest set. we'll have to see when the game comes out.

    @Dagimir I think the fact that you can only use so many skills at one time will limit the meta's. There could be several meta's which is fine with me. within 400 skills there will surely be quite a few so I dont think it will be as big of an issue, especially if people do what Deity said and give feedback ^^

    You need a damage meter to check the output otherwise it's hard to check the best performing build ;)

    Well, we haven't even tried the game yet, so don't skip steps and make too many assumptions.

    @chrightt There was no assumptions being made. There was hoping that it didn't come to that. Its like I hope we don't all die from a zombie virus but i'm not assuming that will happen.
