Cosmetic outfits for Guilds
-
Needing to pay is correct.
So players should pay to the guilds controlling an area all kinds of taxes if they want to do business there, or fish, or hunt, or gather, or anything.
Everything should be payed for.

@finland said in Cosmetic outfits for Guilds:
@fibs cosmetic cash shop should not be related to guild things except for name change and thing like that. I may accept extra player slots. But mor icons or colors is something I hate.
You mean extra player slots to increase the maximum size of your guild? That is p2w in my opinion. GvG content? One guild has more options to make good siege setup vs other guild.
-
@finland you don't want your guild to look different than other guilds? cosmetic is cosmetic whether a guild pays for their guild or a player pays for them self.
@FibS I've seen it done many ways. gm pays for it directly. the gm ask for donations while also paying for some. gm demanding donations.
What I think would work best is a way for a player to buy a token that can be donated to the guild. this item cant be looted so there's no fear there.

@benseine I doubt that siege will be unlimited.
-
@jetah I just want features to show my banner It's up to me where put my things. As said by someone else who should buy things for the guild? Guild cahs shop should not exists.
-
i've said the guild leader pays for it or they ask for donations (depending on price).
-
@finland even if it is limited like 50vs50 and standard guildcap is 50 for example. Raising it by 10 or more through cashshop puts the guild of 60 ppl in advantage over 50 ppl cause they got 10 backup players. And many more advantages can be mentioned in this specific example. Better class setup, high knowlegde players first etc.
-
@benseine will be more than 300.
-
@finland what the ammount is isn't the point (i just gave an example to explain it), that option to raise it through the cash shop is p2w
-
@benseine What's the differemce from starting a second guild? You may have infinite players in a guild. I just suggested something to put more players in the same place.
-
@finland that depends on the siege mechanics. If for example only the attacking and defending can stay in the area, and all others get ported away (as in Age of Conan or ArchAge), then it is a big difference ofc. And if you have infinite players in a guild, then nobody buys extra guildslot in the cashshop ofc
-
@benseine I have prolly explained it bad. What's the difference in buying extra slots for a guild A or making Guild A,B,C, and so on under the same banner but with a limited player base? In both solutions you may have infinite players.
-
@finland then again, it depends on siege mechanics
