This is discussed at length on other forum threads, so no need to rehash it here...suffice it to say, the movement scheme they went with is considered intrinsic to the gameplay experience they want.

There's a nifty feature in this forum that allows you to search for questions/topics like the one you're about to ask. Maybe someone already asked that question? Raised that topic? Made that suggestion?
