Can't get in game

Stuck at the loading world screen for over 10 minutes. I've tried restarting, has anyone else had a problem?

Yes, several of us having the same issue. There's a post about it in Alpha 2, bug reports.

@grofire That solution didn't work for me, unfortunately. Nor another person in the other thread. I hope it works for someone, though! I sent in my player.log file.

Just tried with the latest patch; it says I have lost connection and shuts down the game

So I created a new character and was able to get in game very briefly but then booted after two seconds saying it had lost connection.
