I kinda like the idea of the needing to eat and drink though. If say each race has its own sustenance that is more effective for it, then it would be a limiter on how long they could stay on another planet unless they stockpiled a lot at a base on the other planets.

Welcome to folds. If you haven't explored much around I suggest checking out this post for lots of useful information about the game. pretty much all the information about the game really.
That site is pretty nice considering what we have to work with lol. making me question my quest point guild loyalty 
I go to a weekly board game night with a few friends. We play a variety of games depending on the mood from simple short games like Coup, love Letter, or Celestia to deception/perception games like Sheriff of Nottingham, Werewolf, Mysterium, to the more time intensive games like Zombicide, Mage Knight, and Millenium Blades. Constantly expanding that library of games though.
I've recently thought of an idea for a game but feel it would be better suited as a release at a later point if I were to have a smaller game that was successful beforehand so that people would be more interested in it from a publishers trust point of view. So it is likely that neither game will come to fruition because the smaller game I am stuck on. Still jotting ideas in my notebook for the larger game all the time though.
Seems like a lot of us here are in that boat of just been bouncing around the surface of other MMOs trying to find one to land in.

Hello fellow adventurers, thank you for considering joining TD on our exploration of Fractured.
We are a friendly streaming community based in a Discord server named Twitch Dynasty. Our goal in this game is to have fun exploring all that the game has to offer through the developmental phases ahead of us and on into the main release. As such we are starting out as a Human race so we are more centered in the world and have better access to all the game has to offer. If later on we feel the need to expand into other races we may do that at that time.
We hope that you will feel the call and come join us for a lot of good times and amazing content creators(many more that aren't joining us in this game).

What is your favorite mechanics in games, MMO or otherwise.
Mine has always been Housing, and it has caused many debates in myself to be decided.
Back when Skyrim first came out I beat the game and did all the achievements so I ended up selling the game. Later on they released the housing expansion so I bought the expansion figuring I'd eventually buy Skyrim again so I could see the new housing features... That expansion was never installed or played lol.
I support this idea as well. Had thought they kinda blended a bit.
This post is full of awesome clarifications. Trying to get a few friends on board with this but they are being hard to sway with what there is available at the moment.
Any songs from games that stick in your head?
I have a couple songs from a game called Ashen Empires that always make me go back and check up on it just so i can walk back through those song filled areas.
I also have this thing where I can remember what I was doing in a game the first time I heard a song a lot of times so everytime I hear that song it makes me think back to that game.
There is a planned kickstarter for other additional things but they are trying to get more done before they go into the kickstarter phase with the funding they already have

I think mine was through MMORPG.com but I'm not sure.
While ordinarily I would agree with most of what you said, I guess the back story would have been important to the advice portion of your message lol. The reason I wanted it to be a message like this is because I'm not in a particular rush to actually be in a relationship because we both recently got out of relationships, mine in particular ending in a divorce.
The message is basically I'm glad we're friends now but if you want to be more at some point I'll be here.
I do appreciate your quick response and advice given though so thank you for that.
