Why so much hate to Steam, the game can be available in Steam just to extend the amount of people it reaches, its not like I'm asking if the game will ONLY be available through Steam.
I didn't even knew of this game until the first gameplay came out, and surely there's a lot of people that would be interested and haven't heard of it either. Steam would be a nice mainstream platform to get fast to a lot of people.

Will I be able to purchase the game during open alpha/beta or any other stage via Steam?

El mod dijo que el juego se comprará una sola vez (sin subscripciones) y que habrá una tienda donde comprar cosméticos por dinero real.
Sinceramente estaba esperando que fuera así, es hasta ahora el mejor modelo de negocio para los MMO en mi opinión.
