Hi @Yitra,
Sorry to say but that is not true.
Unless, of course, the developers change their mind later on. You can read in The Elysium System description from Spotlight #2: "After the Fracture, the One Planet, Elysium, was split into the three worlds you should be already familiar with: Arboreus, Syndesia and Tartaros. Put into motion by the same magic that created them, they started revolving around the sun, giving birth to a proper solar system that was to be known as the Elysium System."
Hi @Prometheus, @Specter and Fractured community,
I know this thread is quite old but I am new to Fractured and to understand everything I am reading through the game website and foruns. I was reding the Feature Spotlight #2 (Universe, etc), very nice BTW, and some doubts came to mind, some of which I could not find an answer in the forum.
For example, knowing that the game have eclipses, seasons, day/night cycles, and temperature variations according to location, etc, do the game simulate Diurnal Temperature Variation? How many seasons the planets have, four? Concerning the eclipses, since they can last many days, are you going to consider the temperature drop during eclipse and its influence in gameplay?
Lastly, just for curiosity, does the Elysium System looks like this?
Grazie mille.
Hi everyone.
This is my first time participating in the forum. Indeed, I am very new to Fractured community. I discoveved the game just yesterday.
I followed most of the discussion on this thread, and I there are things that I don't get completelly. Let me say first that I do understand how maps are important and the information they provide can make the difference between life and death in some edge situations. But from what I got, one of the selling characteristic of the game is that you can interact with the world and you actions have an impact on it, i.e., you can change the landscape, am I correct? If so, when facing a situation where a certain path is blocked, should not the player peharps be able to perform some action that allow him to overcome the barrier? For example, freeze a portion of a river, break a chain of blocking stones, etc.
