RE: Let's pray for sick Blizzard :(
People were actually talking about Diablo 4 being announced, and it being a Diablo isometric MMO, similar to Fractured or Torchlight Frontiers.
I was hyped.
Then, they announced a mobile game.
SMH - can't fix whatever is wrong at that company.
This is what they get when they promote the "You think you want it, but you don't" guy to President. Youtube that.
What a joke.

Identifying Guilds...
Dark Age of Camelot had an awesome system where you had the option to dye, or enamel your armor different colors, but also place your guilds logo on your shield, or cloak.
To me, this was always cooler than WoWs tabard system. But I think the tabard is a nice option if you have the other things as well.
Trust me when I say there is nothing cooler than seeing your guild getting ready for a battle or a raid, and everyone has their matching color schemes and insignia.

RE: [Poll] Tails... because you asked for it! :)
Seems like a great way to customize your characters appearance! I support this.
You could have cash shop skins for different tails, as well.
Humans with tails? I don’t think so.

RE: Classic WoW?
Nah. They are hyping the sh*t out of it for Blizzcon next week, and they will have a playable demo.
Brack (the new pres) says he deeply regrets the comments he made about it, and wants to deliver the best classic experience possible.

Classic WoW?
Anyone here excited for it?
Our Fractured guild is going to start there while we wait for this game to be released.

RE: eXploited (#1 demon guild )
We are going to be playing Classic WoW while we wait for Fractured to release.
If you're interested in playing alongside us, hit me up on our discord or on our website.

Anyone here playing Classic WoW? eXploited is..
The #2 overall guild, and the #1 ranked Demon guild will be adventuring into Classic World of Warcraft, to stay busy while waiting for Fractured.
While there, we're going to get some legendary weapons, high warlord titles, scarab lord, slay Kel'Thuzad... you know, no big deal.
We're recruiting.

RE: So there will be a skin cash shop (part 2)
Yes, even in Isometric games, with limited view, you can identify equipment rapidly if you are a skilled player.
"Clarent Blade"
"Clarent Blade and glaive"
"No that's a spirit hunter - Harpoon!" -
RE: So there will be a skin cash shop (part 2)
This immediately causes gameplay concerns.
If this is truly going to be a PvP focused game, part of that means gear and abilities need to be recognizable.
If you can't tell what the heck is going on, you don't have a good PvP game.
League of Legends can have this - because it doesn't have items that impact how a character looks. The "costume" of the character, per se, is completely cosmetic. While in a game like World of Warcraft, Albion Online, etc.. you can discern what a player's power level is by looking at them. This is imperative, if you're going to make a decision to engage, or disengage. Who to target first, etc.
Having skins in an MMO like this lowers the skill bar.

RE: This game is a potential PVE gold mine
I don't think so.
In order to accomplish anything in this game, you will need to enter the PvP areas...
At least I hope?

RE: The Lich vs. the Angel and Abomination
@dybuk I think there needs to be another option for Humans "turning evil", and Lich doesn't fit.
"Forsaken"? Perhaps.
Lich seems like it would be a completely different thing.

RE: The Lich vs. the Angel and Abomination
@gothix Not all cultures are equal.
I don't know enough about Star Trek, particularly the Klingons, but if the Klingons wanted to practice human sacrifice, child-rape, murder, etc.. we'd all agree that was not moral behavior.
Morality is objective. It takes religion to force people to make certain things that are immoral seem moral.
-
RE: The Lich vs. the Angel and Abomination
I completely disagree with this. Morality is not subjective. But we're getting off topic.

RE: The Lich vs. the Angel and Abomination
In classic RPG's, there are two sliding scales which each character falls into.
Order and Chaos
Good and EvilIt's possible to be Orderly and Evil.. think Dark Elves from Everquest, or Warhammer. Or the Nazi's from our timeline.
Chaotic Good is also possible.. Robin Hood being the classic example. Thief and an outlaw, but performing morally good actions.
As for your question, I suppose it depends on how the developers want to interpret the Lich. I personally see a Lich, and Necromancy in general as a force of Chaos. It is at odds with the order of the universe, and natural law so to say. Morality of each individual Lich should be up to the player to decide.

RE: Necromancy skills
Still the best game to ever do the Necromancer was Diablo 2, with Dark Age of Camelot's "Bonedancer" being a close second.

A fourth Demon race for yet another playstyle... (vote)
Ethereal - a ghost/banshee type race. This character is "Perma Death", as well as FFA PvP. Anyone familiar with Diablo or Path of Exile knows how much drama and heart ache can be created by allowing this type of character to exist.
It's racial abilities can be focused on defensive utility, things like Vanish, smoke bomb, escape artist, phase shift, etc. An ethereal could be a very hard character to lock down, which would make killing one that much more rewarding.
Also gives Fractured some new territory, because correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any mmo has ever had a ghost race? Dark Age of Camelot had banshees but they were sort of undead elves?
-
RE: Racial Diversity of Fractured Visualized
I know it's still early, but I will say this...
If they keep Demons as "FFA PvP", you're going to have a lot of people re-rolling.
30 percent of the population is not about that life. I promise you.
