I'm more concerned with areas looking and feeling unique from one another at the moment. I don't want to enter and leave a biome without ever having a reason to enter another one.

Well, they've already confirmed in-game microtransactions for skins and quality of life items, as a start.

I'm all for a demo for players to try the game, to decide if they actually enjoy the game or not. Maybe they'll find an effective way to do it.

Hopefully you enjoy Fractured and its community just as much.
