Choices need to matter, but it's tough to feel locked in by the choices of your slightly younger, less knowledgeable self. I agree on making more of that knowledge available early and accessibly so that it feels less like a choice made out of ignorance and more a choice made out of preference.
I think it's good to give critical feedback like this as that's how development can improve. Turn times on kiting would certainly make combat feel clunky, but I could also imagine it being difficult to balance without any turn times. Makes sense to tweak that and experiment to improve the way it feels and plays.
I think this could work with the caveat maybe that they could transfer their character progress over to a regular world if they buy the game
Wow, this looks great. I've been waiting for an update for a while and this definitely gives us a lot to think about. What I particularly like is that you race doesn't necessarily completely prohibit you in terms of morality, and that even a demon with enough work put in could be Good.

I heard about it on the MMORPG subreddit. Really glad I did, it looks like there are a lot of unique elements to this MMO.
I think this is a great marketing and rewards system all rolled up into one 
Sometimes I wonder if having open dungeons could lead to more and better player interactions though. But I agree, having options for both seems like the best way to go!
