Greetings. Old school gamer here looking for my new fix. Started with an old Texas Instruments with cartridge games, then built old 8088/x86s computers and loaded games via cassette tapes. Hard drives soon followed with Bulletin boards and MUDs being the main source of games. Then graphics started getting better and single player RPGs where the thing. Finally that weird thing called the Internet started booming and the birth of MMO's captured my full attention.

Looking forward to try a game with a fresh perspective on MMO toon development. Hope to see yall soon in the fractured universe!

I was having issues reading peoples names if I was moving or if they were moving. I tried tweaking a few settings but no go. Not sure if its just me. Running through an area with a bunch of people makes locating a person tough unless you stop and look around, move to the next area, stop and look around again. Also makes identifying anyone running by you difficult. Not game ruining but a quality of life thing. Enjoying the game, thanks for all the hard work!

Based off the last Alpha, you can also open up your home and its resources to others. So if your guildie has a house in another city, and they share the stuff in their home to the guild, you can use those chests/crafting stations as well. So spreading out your Guild will have some benefits even if the town is not sharing their crafting resources. Though if a town does share its resources they appear to collect more taxes so the town will have more to spend on growth. Interesting mechanic!

I posted something along these lines as well. Apparently confusion is unacceptable in these forums and will result in name calling / flaming. Here is the best description you will get on the phases of the Alpha/Beta which is in the FAQ on the Store page.

"The development of Fractured is split into 4 periods of time, called development phases (or cycles). In chronological order, they’re named Alpha 1, Alpha 2, Beta 1, Beta 2. The current development cycle is Alpha 2.

Within each development phase, multiple tests are run, with some downtime between each. More info on the topic can be found below."

I just want to try it out for the first time. I signed up thinking I had access to the last beta that was already closed when I already paid for it. Basically I bought something I have yet to play, for about 30 days now. I'm patient though and hope this genre will scratch the itch.
