Can learn already known abilities

I started as the Rat so i already had "Poisoning Strike" by default.
Just after Learning Arcane missiles i found i also could learn poisoning strike despite already knowing it.
I only got a notification for the arcane missiles. (was not fighting both types of spiders at the same time)
