Are we in Alpha 1?

I would like to buy the Founder pack but I cannot find anywhere the status of the game. I read a roadmap that say Alpha 1 was planned for December of this year.

Are we in Alpha 1?
If I buy the Founder pack, can I play the alpha version of the game?

In the FAQ it says that the game is playable on PC. Is it possibile to play it on Mac?

The game is currently in Pre - Alpha.
