No grind required is different from no grind. You can grind if you want. You don't have to, and what you gain out of it doesn't make you too strong compared to someone who doesn't.
what does you have in the game that is not gated by much grind ?
skill, items, talent - grind same creature for 30-100.
the truth of the matter is that with no grind there is nothing to the game, and its very different from the original vision.
