More generally, high magic, low magic, or no magic gameplay? And if it's magical, what kind of restrictions will be placed on it?

You can check the kind of enchanting that will be allowed here http://theshadowempire.net/public_enchantments.php This will show you how enchanting is done and what enchantments are able to be added to items currently. Currently there are only 2 tiers, but a third will be introduced into the game later. Each tier gives more numerical benefits.
