We can definitely rig an election to have you beat me, or vice versa, then kick out of town. I am using the town planner role as an incentive for one of my friends to bump their pledge, so we'll see, but I imagine that's something more than one person can work on too.
I wonder if a new Governor can change the town name? If so, I'll name it Town A, you can rename it, otherwise Testopolis is good.

Any ideas where you want to sit the town down everyone?

I'd think maybe near Myr Lower Spine. Not sure if anyone has their eye there yet, but it seems like a decent spot with a variety of terrain and stuff.
If not there, maybe by Sunset Peaks or Reaching Plains?
I'm loathe to go to certain spots that seem like they have no mine nearby, since trade will likely be less than optimal in early alpha.

So as alpha approaches, anyone in place to join in this town, I'll plan to make it US based as Kralith's will be Europe based. If any of you want to jump onto my discord to start planning who's going to have what role, please be my guest. Just let people know you're there for fractured, I'll set an alpha role up.
In fact, if you're not on this town but still want on the discord for when alpha starts, you're more than welcome to, I have an open room which I'll add you to.
There's a couple general chats for non game related stuff too, can be pretty crazy in there some days, but the more the merrier.
Also any language welcome, there is a privately owned translation bot that works really well, if English isn't your first language, it's pretty easy to use, and a spam room exists for which to do that.
Just let the people there know you're there for fractured alpha, and they'll grant you access to the game based rooms.
