Unable to pay house maintenance

I was gifted the game on Steam.
I tried reinstalling the game from the launcher and logging in and I had the same issue.
I cannot deposit any gold for the maintenance.
If I can't keep the house then I can't play the game, pretty simple.
I'm logged in under the correct account, I only have one.
