Peeking in for the brief open test! How do I choose my race?

Figured I'd ask. Plan to pick the game up proper once I get some money in, hopefully soon. How exactly do I choose my race? Are they even implemented yet, or do I have to wait for a while longer yet?

@LamiaCritter For this alpha, you will only be able to play as a Human. Demon and Beastman are not here yet.

They seem to be four human classes so far.
I've tried on and off for hours to get past character creation, but the server is full.
