This Yank from Tacoma sighs wistfully, wishing she was celebrating Canada Day instead of waiting for the end of our collective ironygasm down here.
Millions of lock-step "USA"-chanting flag-wavers celebrating a revolution to overthrow oligarchic in-breds like the one they elected.... meanwhile the vets who have fought to defend the flag getting waved by those neo-fascists are sleeping in the streets and getting triggered by their 'patriotic' fireworks.

@Luranthe I hear you BUT my experience is that no one is ever 'being political' until someone disagrees with their take. As long as no one disagrees, 'the consensus' is de facto considered NOT political. Think for a moment about how exclusive that is for people impacted by 'the consensus'.
