[OOC I need to check in more often it seems, I've been busy with school work so I'm not nearly as active as I could be, apologies. But feel absolutely free to 'play' as my character, just assume i'll follow you all around and help out as that's what I would do, Glim has a good understanding on how I'd act as we've talked about it, and once you feel confident in my character yourself It's up to whoever replies to either add me in or not. I'll reply when I can and such but just in case, don't hesitate to answer for me, cheers.]

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Singing Grotto Inn
[OOC Completely missed the last two posts somehow, oops]
Phargought moves to Glim's side, not just out of loyalty but, who wouldn't feel safer next to a bear?
"Hum, what is that thing exactly?" He asks no-one in particular, eyebrow raised with curiosity, he draws his sword, and readies himself for what may come.[I'll let one of the more competent writers handle the flow of this 'scene'

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Singing Grotto Inn
Phargought wakes to what could only be the sound of a bear, beating on his door.
"Aye I'm up, I'm up" he grumbles, pulling himself out of bed and getting dressed in his gear, apparently brought up by the men. He wears a simple vest, trousers and a cloak, also pulling on a belt and hanging his arming sword, and scabbard, from it.
Leaving his room, he begins walking downstairs with his Nheedra friend, still rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "Where's Malyvern, waiting on me I assume?" -

@Mimi (OOC Welcome Mimi, the more the merrier!)
Phargought watches Glim retreat upstairs to his room, turning to leave the Inn, after ordering himself a room of course, he won't be gone long, just to tell the men that they should get some rest at 'some point' in the night, but not be worried about an early morning, not the day after arriving in town, that was a day for rest.
"most every other day is a busy one for anyone looking to work for Glim though" He thinks to himself with a smile, turning himself in for the night. -
RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Singing Grotto Inn
(OOC Crap, didn't even realise I hadn't mentioned what I was, I'm a Udoadra, not Nheedra, my bad
)
Disregarding the men once more, Phargought turns once again to face the man sitting next to his Nheedra friend "The pleasure is mine, you seem to be alright by Glim, and that means you're at least no threat to me" Phargought says with a friendly laugh, "aye, our journey was a long one, but luckily I don't mind the cold. And as for that story, let's save that for another time aye, I need my rest, and to explain it in full may take quite some time" Phargought chuckled, remembering just how troublesome, yet fruitful, working with Glim could be.
Phargought then turns to face Glim, looking, slightly, more serious now. "What do you take of them?" nodding his head at the men addressing the room. "The two 'smaller' ones look jumpy and nervous to me, don't seem quite so certain themselves that there'll be no trouble"

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Singing Grotto Inn
Phargought shimmies past the three men blocking the doorway, ignoring their glares as he begins to make his way to Glim.
"The men are all still helping the caravan unpack at the merchant's shop. I thought I'd find you here, of all places" Phargought says with a chuckle. "Making friends already?" He asks, nodding his head towards the men at the door, moving to stand at his friends side, leaning backwards on the bar with his elbows.[Phargought wears simple clothes, casual pants, a sleeveless, leather jerkin with the front open, showing his ashy-grey fur beneath and, obviously, no shoes.]

RE: Anyone knows which classes?
@target Okay awesome, i'm definitely looking forward to this.
-
RE: Will there be a lot of P2W items?
@specter Okay cool, thanks for all your help!
-
RE: Loot system
@nelchael Okay great, I'll be sure to stay up to date on that then, would be interesting to see what will be made capable. Cheers for all your help.
-
RE: Loot system
@nelchael Yeah fair enough, would there also potentially be the ability to completely 'destroy' buildings? Maybe of guild who are active but some other guild decides that they no longer want anyone to oppose them?
-
RE: Loot system
@nelchael So would it be semi-safe to say that there WILL be a limit to how much players can expand?
-
RE: Loot system
@nelchael Okay great. This is super interesting, I already have a group of people who I'm willing to try things out with. Should be cool to see what the whole community of this game can come up with, which leads to another question. Will this game be server based? Or will there be timed resets on worlds etc. As in once the worlds are all built up and there are villages and towns everywhere, will it not maybe progress too far and perhaps become unwieldy? If so will new servers be built or will there be a limit to how much players can actually expand? Or will the world be simply so free-roam that there will never be a need for a number of servers or a global reset, for example.

RE: When?
@kralith yeah that is a good point, I guess I'm just impatient haha.
-
RE: When?
@nelchael I would be down for people to lose points, maybe based on a community voted thing looked over by moderators though, otherwise some unlucky people would just lose points for either missing an answer to a question already asked, or not getting the answer the first time so asking again etc. Although I see what you mean about having to answer.

RE: Will there be a lot of P2W items?
@specter Okay great, what about character customization, will every person look the same or similar if they're the same race, as in will you basically need to buy cosmetic items to set yourself apart? Not that this matters to gameplay at all I'm just curious, cheers.
-
RE: Loot system
@nelchael The more I hear about this game the more interested I get. I saw before that there will be NPC's for hire, would some of those be traders or like, caravan-drivers or something? Or will there be opportunities to hire other players to do these things instead? Also slightly off topic but still semi-related, with buildings you can erect and such, will players be able to build their own villages? Or is it more toned-down in the sense that they might build their own house in an already, pre-made village. Sorry if these questions become tedious to answer, feel free to let someone else take over if you want I'm just curious!
-
RE: Loot system
@nelchael So banditry and such will work like real life as well? Can people simply patrol on the most popular trade routes and wait for someone to royally f**k over?
-
RE: Gods?
@finland With regards to playing, can you only pray to those Gods that are related to the class you chose? And either way, can you pray to multiple Gods at once or is it choose one stay with one forever, or there's a limited time between Gods prayed to until you can pray to another?
-
RE: Anyone knows which classes?
@jetah I realise this question has been answered already, probably many. many times, but will there still be use (if playing with friends) for one person to focus on a particular skill set rather than another, say, one a support and one a tank, based soley on skills learned and such not on starting race, or will it be easy enough to master everything you need to not need a player-based class system?
