Telwath stilled as Rikki left, finding himself the subject of two demons and an unknown human. His gaze passed over them and he forced himself to not retreat. That might be seen as a sign of weakness and one to exploit. So instead he drummed claws to the bar, staff held in a protective fashion as he quietly asked for another drink, paying little attention to what he actually ordered.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
Telwath shakes his head, tapping his staff to the ground. "I'm not seeking a conversation with them, I'm having it with you. And each sees the Gods their own ways, I won't challenge your views." He pauses. "Though I'm curious to what set them against you." He runs a hand through the fur on his head. "And my own name is Telwath."

Telwath nods to Ixou, holding himself back. Still, he remains watchful and careful. And concern washes over his face as he sees the unknown Erwydra in the midst of all three demons. Focusing himself, he draws a breath, then starts forward, taking a seat to address her at the bar, while keeping all three of the demons in full view. "There seem a great many of our kin here tonight." He grins lightly, it a little forced. "I wonder if Nelena had plans for us." He spoke their Goddess' name quietly, reverence threading through his tone.

Telwath blinks as the sense of a third demon washes over him. He turns from where he was about to speak to Mimi, his instincts kicking in. Fight or flight competed as he let out a low growl , energy flickering around his staff as he sought natural energy to draw upon. The energy flickered over Malvynn and the other Beastmen present, sharpening their reflexes and strengthing their hides to the conflict he saw happening. Demons were cunning. They had planned this to attack their enemy en masse.

Telwath moved to Glim's side, a hand lightly resting on the Nheedra's shoulder. "Their nature will betray them." He speaks softly. "They'll turn to hunt and kill and harm, sooner or later. We are ready for when they do." He nodded lightly. "Let them reveal themselves first." He stilled as Rikki moved to join the two demons, exhaling slowly. "And if they harm her." He spoke softly to Glim. "I'll all too happily join you."

"You'd all be welcome to visit our home with me." Telwath told Ixuo with a nod. "The Pack would always welcome visitors, and the chance for tales beyond our own borders. Part of why I'm here." He chuckled, tapping his staff. "I'd not be doing any sort of wrestling with you till the ichor's out of your fur though. Leave it too long, it'll dry and that'll be even worse to get rid of. I've fought snarls before."
He stopped as a demon marched in though, immediately taking to his feet with a low pitched snarl and gripping his staff with one hand as he rose the other in a claw, lupine eyes focused and hard. A step, one, two and he was between the new arrival and Mimi's sleeping form.

"Their way, not ours." Telwath mused to Ixou. "They'll learn or they won't." He paused, checking the herbs he has on offer. "You'll need a river or lake to wash yourself in." He advised the Chadra. "But this." A small leather skin of an odd smelling paste is held forth. "It'll clean your fur and skin, and, you will smell nice." A faint slant of amusement touched the Udoadra's face. "We should all think about some cleaning." He suggested, glancing at Glim's back.
Eyes went to the well dressed man and he spread his arms. "Accept that us hearing your words doesn't mean we will follow them, and I will listen to what you wish to say. The Erwydra who addressed them received a curious look, but he held his silence on that score, watching her head for the tavern.

RE: The Pack
I should stress, this is open to all Beastmen. It may be worth me making that more clear in the summary.

"Too many of your people need to learn the lessons of the past better." Telwath told Malyvern ruefully. "Conflict, division, that is what caused the fracture. If cycles repeat.. I hope they do not. I.." He's cut off as a vegetable splatters against Glim's back, eyes narrowing and claws flexing as he scanned the crowd for threats with a quiet growl. Seeing nothing past jeers so far, he gives the Nheedra an apologetic look, brushing excess fragments from his back. "Some heard your words, at least." He offered to him in an attempt of reassurance.

Stepping forward, Telwath leapt lightly onto the platform next to Glim, turning to face the crowd and stand side by side with him. "Listen well!" He called. "Look to us if you seek unity, but we do not speak for rage and destruction."

For now Telwath follows and observes. That was his task here, after all. But he kept an eye on Glim in case the needhra found trouble. They were kin after all.

Telwath grinned broadly, clasping Glim's hand in turn. "I'll come and see. It's the reason for me being here." He took to his paws, following the others out and nodding to Ixou as they left.

In answer Telwath picks up another mug, nodding at Glim and waiting. His free hand produces a leaf from his herbs, it dropped in the mug he holds.

The Wolf-kin considers, eyes bright with the given challenge. "You would be wise to offer rules." He teases. "But I will not warn you which are best to stop me finding advantage."

The man sat, taking the cider offered to him and sniffing the contents before taking a careful sip. He hummed, claws tapping against the mug. "Telwath." He answered with a smile. "And I welcome you as a friend Malyvern." He plucked a bag of herbs from his belt, offering it to the mage. Focusing on Glim, he reached out to clasp the other's hand in greeting. "How do you find human drinks?" His lips curved. "Nheedra endurance is legendary."

The Wolf-kin approached Glim and his companions, inhaling scents and tilting his head slightly, the sweep of his neck and throat bared in a sign of peaceful intent. "I didn't expect kin here." He smiled softly. "But you're a most welcome sight after a dusty road." His staff tapped against the wooden floor. "This one would join you if welcome."

The door creaked open as a white furred Udoadra made his way inside, a somewhat tattered leather cloak hanging from his shoulders. His chest was bare aside from the clasp of said cloak around his neck, and he wore a leather kilt around his waist, several small bags of various herbs strapped to it. A roughly carved wooden staff rested in his hand as he tilted his head back, nostrils flaring as he scented the air and let golden eyes pass over the occupants, taking their measure before he quietly stepped forward, the lights of the tavern illuminating tribal tattoos winding over his arms and chest.
