Combat wise, is it going to be similar to Torchlight or Diablo with spells and abilities and all that?

Just like those games, are there going to be major hubs (cities) where everyone can meet, trade or hang out peacefully? Think Orgrimmar in WoW and the alliance city (forgot the name).
