@Prometheus Good stuff! Thanks for the reply. Can't wait to see that "execution" feature!

@Specter Understandable 100%. Please don't take this as me calling you out for a lack of moderation. I don't feel that way at all.
Just looking for some "ground rules" going forward.
Appreciate your insight. Also, hit me up if you need an additional mod. I got ya!
@Jahlon said in What's The Stance on "Foul Language"?:
Some words should just be hard banned, because they take toxic to a whole new level.
With that said, given that Fractured is going to be full loot PVP, you better have a thick skin.
Yup. I agree 100%.
I think we have to draw the line somewhere and say "This is fine, but this isn't."
I would be happy with "Curse all you want, but stay away from the racism crap." I really don't want to see the N word spammed all day. It gets old.
If we can all agree to that we should be able to coexist enough to kill each other. Lol.
My personal stance is let profanity stay but racism and such should be moderated.
Seen some remarks in chat. Homophobic and racist kinda crap.
Just wondering what the stance is on something like this: https://i.imgur.com/k4Ym3uD.png
Pretty curious to see where this community will be going. That hinges on the moderation's stance.
@Vortech It will reduce the amount of people abusing this. Additionally if they wish to provide further funding then so be it.
Could moderate that as well and limit the amount of clients that could run on one computer.
I strongly believe that players should be limited to one player per account.
Having the ability to spy on a Human character free from PvP threats then logging on your Demon to attack a specific area you just gained intel on is not within the spirit of the game.
Having a farm on a human to deposit crops into your house so you can log on to your Demon seems like another potential way to abuse this.
Having an additional character can only hurt the competitive nature of the game.
It seems a lot of players are unaware they can join a militia to begin PvPing. I believe a good way to fix this would be to add it as a suggestion/tip on the last stage of the tutorial that tells players to explore the 3 locations.
This should bring some more PvP to the alphas.
Just recorded a video of the house building process. Don't worry, I cut out hours of work for an easy viewing experience.
In Blinding Strike's description it states that it SILENCES enemies. It does not.
It does like the name suggests...it blinds enemies.
Having to completely change a character's build and equipment to kill a single type of enemy is quite tedious.
I have no seen magic immune enemies yet but I am sure there are plans for it.
I don't really see this being a positive experience for any player.
What do you guys think about it?
@Shivashanti said in Logging out to avoid PvP Deaths:
On a side note i think you should have a logout timer like 20sec or something like that to prevent alt+f4 before a death
Agreed 100%.
@Shivashanti It's actually already planned. However it would be 8 people rolling up on 1 player and instantly killing him. Currently there is no way to damage the health bar when they are on the ground.
That's the nature of Open World PvP. Numbers will be a factor.
Sorry.
@Kralith Players can use it to initiate an attack and to escape. It's the strongest ability in the game, period.
Stealth that relies on a player's ability to be stealth such as in bushes is quite different. An ability with PERMANENT stealth is literally game breaking. You can camp players in houses and just wait for them to leave.
It needs to go.
Literal game breaker.
This HAS to go.
Performed a test and players on top of other players are completely undetectable.
There needs to be a constant mana drain or duration. Or...my favorite option, pull it out of the game entirely.
Any plans to allow players to view party members on the world or at least the mini map?
