@GamerSeuss
I'm old and never think of discord. Just looked and they have a message there that they are aware of the issue. No one uses forums anymore I guess.

Login server error
I've been getting the login server has encountered and error message for the past couple hours or so.
I can't find any indication the server was taken offline.

RE: What am i suppose to do after the tutorial?
Make gold.
How do you want to do that?
You can hunt or gather material and sell it, one day. Or you can start killing things and gaining knowledge.I would start killing wolves if you didn't max out knowledge on tutorial island. After wolves, bunnies, deer I would move on to goblins after I get a few talent points.
Kill goblins, and maybe even some bandits until you have 4k gold. Then find a city that has a yellow shield that you wouldn't mind living near, and locate a hamlet on one of the roads outside it. Build things you want to do the things you want to do.
Ultimately, it all comes down to making gold.

The Grind and knowledge isn't wrong either. If you go at it like a typical MMO grindset, sure it's not really any different.
I can get into the game, using the base setup you are given for the archetype you chose, group up with some guys, and go out and kill the mobs needs to gain the knowledge on them to get the skills you want. Through collecting and discovery in the processes of gathering the things you want, you will grow your talent pool. This is nothing like the typical MMO experience today.
Conventional would be I pick a mage, do the quests in all the level appropriate areas as I work my way up my level to unlock new content that I can do to get the next level appropriate item. I will get the same skills as every other person that chose to play a mage, but I'll have some way to build a different mage as every other mage that is built exactly like me to do the same content I do.
FO put the rewards for killing that thing in actually killing that thing. It's not just an xp number, it's also the lightening spell I want, and the gold and material I'm looking for.
Grind isn't just killing crap over and over. It's killing crap over and over in order to get to some defined point. That is a convention.
Mobs are an actual resource here. Everything is a resource, and you do not stop needing resources because you hit level 60 and need to start raiding now. You will be killing an awful lot of things, over and over, because it's a game and there are game things you will be doing, and killing stuff is one of them!
Were you expecting something more like a MOBA, set in a persistent world? Based on what you expected of the game, what did you expect the daily gameplay loop to be? Because the blurbs you pointed out aren't false, they just aren't what you were expecting; so what were you expecting?

RE: Feedback on Residents
land plots are practically necessary.
As a solo player I do not need a guild to be incentivized. I need the housing plot available for me to buy without being attached to that guild, and for that guild to have built a market worthwhile for me to live there.
Resources, economy, and crafting are going to be the biggest impact on where I live. Can I get property that is close to a market that has a lot of activity? Are they close to a good source of mob farming? Will it be inconvenient for me to get where I need to on a daily basis?
As a solo player, it's not the guild that matters, it's what I'm doing.
Residence is no problem; everyone is going to want a house they are extremely valuable. Knowing where housing plots are (they aren't marked on the map, and at least the one you live in should be.), the process for actually claiming it (lots don't realize you just stand in the grey area and the house icon shows at the bottom the UI), or that you need 4k gold in your inventory.
Citizenship is another thing, however, and guilds don't seem to be eager to let you in when you can easily steal from everyone. Or so I have heard.
