For a moment there I read "Physics immune enemies".
Because a physics immuned Bear just walked through the walls of my home and attacked me inside.

Hmmm, I seem to have an idea of how to create Rincewind from Discworld.
@Alexian said in so what is everyone looking forward to this alpha ?:
City management. Fractured's promised political/territory system is innovative and more intricate than any I've previously encountered in an MMORPG.
This test will be the first strong indicator as to whether the devs will follow through with their ambitious promises.
Here's to hoping!
Totally looking forward to how it will turn out to be.
Both are right, one will be left to be correct.
Are there any plans for the camera angle to be rotatable?
I noticed a small compass near the mini map and tried to click it, but it does nothing as of now.
Having played through the last Alpha test, I realised I amassed a large quantity of meat simply by walking around the map from point A to B. Not that I want to, but the bears and wolves just won't leave me alone, and they drop meat. More than what I can consume anyway.
My issue is, with this over supply of meat, why is baking bread even important? I have to go back to town, harvest the wheat, grind them, make them into dough and then bake it into bread... all for a 35% satiety. Meat gives me 50% and it is easier to obtain, anywhere out of town.
I also realised that fields are listed as a hotspot in this Myr Cities & Hotspots Map. Why are fields important as hotspots? Is cotton that important? I mean, not everybody wear cotton made attire. How are fields valuable as a hotspot?
I may have missed something and I really do not see the value of fields. Will be glad if anyone can point me to some quote or journal from the Devs that might point to the value of fields or baking bread.

Oh, they will, trust me. Just wait for player cities and food maintenance costs to become a thing
Nice!
Early Game Trading
Early game trading is pointless at this current juncture. No one needs a marketplace place to get the raw resources they need. As mentioned by my guildie, there is simply no scarcity of raw resources. It is far easier to simply ride over, mine the resource and cart it back than to work your way to having a marketplace, farming for gold and carting a fraction of what you can mine yourself back to your city (People simply don't sell enough to fill your cart).
My solution to fixing early game trading :
Mid to late game trading
If the design of this current test is to allow everyone to collect all the raw resources but lock the higher tier products behind the tech tree and every city will eventually specialise in something, there are also potentially some issues.
